Prima maar basic uitvalsbasis voor een weekje Osaka
Het hotel staat op een fijne locatie in Osaka. We kwamen al vroeg aan en konden de koffers achterlaten. De kamer heeft een comfortabel bed, een kleine koelkast en een prima badkamer met heerlijke douche. In de ochtend kun je gratis koffie of thee met een zoet broodje krijgen, maar tegenover het hotel is een Family Mart met een goed assortiment voedsel. In de directe omgeving van het hotel is genoeg te eten en ook de Shinsaibashi overdekte winkelstraat is vlakbij. Het is een soort kantorengebied en in de avond is het er stil. Er zijn drie wasmachines in het hotel en de TV heeft een kanaal waar je kunt zien of ze bezet zijn of vrij. Dit is erg handig. Neem munten van 100 Yen mee. Tip 1: Als je uit het hotel linksaf gaat en de eerste straat rechts gaat en die uitloopt kom je bij een heel schattig bakkerijtje met heerlijke broodjes en gebak. Tip 2: Tip als je van het station de metro neemt: reis tot station Shinsaibashi en loop door de ondergrondse Crysta-winkeltraverse richting station Nagahoribashi. Hier loop je droog of uit de zon en hoef je niet met de koffers over de drukke straten. Er is hier ook van alles te koop en te eten, dus fijn als je moe bent en even snel iets lekkers wil. Neem de lift omhoog bij uitgang 4. Ga linksaf bij de Lawson, loop door tot de tweede straat links, daar is het hotel.
De kamer was erg stoffig, er lag een dikke laag stof op de tv, de koelkast en de airco. Ook de badkamer was heel stoffig, alsof er al een tijd niemand had geslapen in die kamer. De schoonmaak ging nogal wild tekeer. We hadden wat kleine spulletjes en poppetjes op het tafeltje staan en ik heb die meermaals teruggevonden naast het bed of onder de bank. Het personeel spreekt heel beperkt Engels en moet steeds een manager gaan halen bij vragen.
